Bear-jpeg’s guide for commissions

I go by Bear, I’m an artist and arts administrator from New Brunswick, Canada. Below are my terms of service for commissions, please make sure to review the following page, it provides insight to my process, what to expect, and protections for you and myself.💬I value collaboration and transparency during the creative process of commissions. When you commission me, I will keep in touch through Ko-Fi messages or through Discord (whichever you prefer) to communicate questions, clarifications, and updates about your commission!
🐌At the moment, most commissions take between 1 to 5 days to complete from start to finish. Larger pieces may take up to two and a half weeks to complete. Should there be any delays, I will communicate them with you!
🖍️I am open to the majority of subject matters, but I currently do not make NSFW content of any kind. Below is a list of things I am comfortable drawing:
• Humans/humanoids
• Animals/pets
• OCs/sonas
• Mechas/robots
• Anthro
• …& other stuff, just ask if you don’t see anything listed here!
🌱An initial draft/rough sketch of your proposal will be sent to you for your approval within a few days of your order being placed. When placing your order, instructions will be prompted for you to include reference material: the more, the merrier. Any number of revisions, additions, or tweaks may be made during this stage!🌿Once confirmed, I begin the rendering process, which may include linework, colouring, and shading/lighting. This part may take equally as long or more to complete, depending on the complexity or detail of the piece. Edits may be suggested during this stage.🌻Finally, when the piece is completed, a high resolution file is sent to you via messaging platform and/or email. Edits may not be made at this stage.
☕️All transactions are made through Ko-Fi, which processes PayPal, Mastercard, and Visa payment methods. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice.💸 Payment must be made up front through Ko-Fi orders. In instances where custom pieces are proposed, a draft is sent to the client and payment may be made once the piece has been approved for rendering. Please note that I reserve the right to decline any order in any stage of the commission. Full or partial refunds may be made upon agreement from both parties.
